It has been difficult for me to find troops/packs for my kids in my elementary [...]

Due to employment interviews, family emergencies and an evil virus on my desktop, I have not been spreading the information on my blog.
Please send happy thoughts my way.

My son will be in 1st grade this year. You know the grade level where everything gets all serious.
On the first day of school, he will rock (wear) the red shirt above that says “First Grade Rocks” along with pants I constructed out of bandannas.
If you like the shirt check out Veri Meri Tees. They do not have a store [...]

On Sunday, August 24th, the Houston Theatre Districts hosts a free open house. Take your kids downtown on Sunday from 12-5 pm to try on costumes, play theater games, tour backstage and take pictures with a ballerina at four theaters. I think that my 9-year-old daughter would love this.
Go to houstontheaterdistrict.org for information.
This event would be the perfect end-of-summer-before-school-starts fun [...]
