LEGO Store Grand Opening In Houston Texas..Pictures

On Friday, my family and I visited the new LEGO store in Friendswood at Baybrook Mall. Lines, lines and more lines. The store is not as big as I hoped. They do have pick-a-brick where you choose a container and stuff it with as many bricks as you can for $7.99 and $14.99. We bought the train track set and the $7.99 pick-a-brick container. We stuffed 90 pieces of legos in that little container.

  1. Took the drive all the way down from Jersey Village area and was disappointed. Store is tiny, pick-a-brick wall is nothing special and half of it is beyond reach even if you could see what was there. Fine if you are in the area and just want to buy sets for someone but if you are a real hardcore Legomaniac, this is not the place for you. You probably already have anything they had to offer. Nothing here you couldn’t just order online or from a Lego catalog. Only room for one major sculpture to look at and there isn’t really even anything for the kids to do. One small kids playtable with a run of the mill variety of bricks. Guess I was spoiled by already visiting the Chicago store.

  2. are there any lego adventurers sets there

  3. Jeffrey,

Call the Baybrook LEGO store for more information about what they have in stock at that location.

I do know that if you order online you can have your purchase shipped to the LEGO store and not have to pay shipping.

    Good Luck!
